HSX NanoCodify is built for developers who want their source, their history and their tooling to stay on their own machine.
It sits in the developer tools part of the catalogue, and your source files never leave the machine to be processed. There is no server behind HSX NanoCodify to send them to.
Local-first, by design
Plenty of the alternatives send your source files to a server to be handled. HSX NanoCodify does not. Processing runs on your CPU or GPU, and the projects you open stay where you put them. HSX NanoCodify does reach the internet for the content it displays, but nothing about you or your files travels the other way.
That is not a setting you enable, it is how HSX NanoCodify is built, which is why there is no account to create and no subscription to lapse. It does ask for a graphics card with at least 4 GB of dedicated memory, because the work it would otherwise send to a server happens on that card instead.
